Dr Danie Hoffmann — Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon
Every operation begins with a line.
Dr Danie Hoffmann plans each procedure the way it is performed — drawn, measured, and considered before a single incision. Surgery in millimetres, not promises.

Where is your concern?
Three disciplines, each planned line by line.
A narrow practice, so that every operation is one Dr Hoffmann performs often.
Rhinoplasty
Planning the profile line before the first osteotomy.
Breast augmentation
Implant plane and profile chosen for your chest wall, not a catalogue.
Body contouring
Liposculpture and abdominoplasty planned as one vector map.

Most people arrive with a concern rather than a procedure name. Start with the questions other patients ask.

Meet Dr Hoffmann.
Dr Danie Hoffmann has been in private practice as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon since 1995, consulting in Kempton Park and at the Sunward Park Netcare session rooms. His work is limited to three disciplines — rhinoplasty, breast augmentation and body contouring — so that each is planned and performed often enough to be done well.
Every consultation begins the same way: measuring, drawing, and being honest about what surgery can and cannot change. If an operation is not the right answer, you will be told so plainly.

Restraint is a technical discipline. The plan is drawn before the incision, the incision is placed where the scar can hide, and the tissue is respected at every step.
What follows is not a transformation. It is your own face, or your own body, quietly resolved.
Four considered steps, drawn from first meeting to full recovery.
You will know what happens next at every stage, including what recovery actually asks of you.
Where the consultation and the surgery happen.
Consultations take place in quiet private rooms in Kempton Park and at Netcare Sunward Park Hospital. Surgery is performed in accredited private theatres with a dedicated anaesthetist.

Read the answers first.
The questions patients ask most often, answered plainly — and who you would be seeing.
- Risks & realistic expectationsDo Plastic Surgery Results Look Natural?Natural means proportional to your own face or body — not smaller, not bigger. Here is how restraint at the planning stage decides it, long before theatre.
- Consultation & planningAm I Too Young or Too Old for Cosmetic Surgery? There is no age limit written anywhere. What decides it is skeletal maturity, general health, and whether the decision has been considered rather than reactive.
- Cost & medical aidDoes Medical Aid Cover Cosmetic Surgery in South Africa?South African schemes do not pay for purely cosmetic surgery. Functional and reconstructive components sometimes qualify — here is where the line usually falls, and how quotes are split.
- Choosing a surgeonHow to Choose the Right Plastic Surgeon for Your GoalsMatch the surgeon to the procedure, not the marketing. Registration, training and honest conversation matter more than any before/after gallery.
