Your POPIA rights
- To be told what personal information the practice holds about you.
- To request correction or deletion of information that is inaccurate or no longer needed.
- To object to processing, and to withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
- To lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Retention
Website and enquiry records are retained for 5 years and then deleted. Clinical records are retained separately for the periods required by the HPCSA and the National Health Act.
