Dr Danie Hoffmann — Plastic surgeon, Kempton Park & Pretoria

Dr Daniel Hoffmann is a plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgeon holding MBChB, MMed (Plast), FCS (SA). He qualified as a specialist in 1992 and entered private practice in 1995 at Arwyp Clinic in Kempton Park, where he has operated ever since.

Alongside private practice he served as Head of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Dr George Mukhari Hospital, University of Limpopo, teaching and operating in a reconstructive unit. He is presently in full-time private practice.

His work is deliberately narrow. Rather than offering every procedure in the field, he limits his practice to rhinoplasty, breast augmentation and body contouring, so that each is planned and performed often enough to be done consistently well. Where a case falls outside that scope, he refers rather than improvises.

He consults from his own rooms in Kempton Park and at Netcare Sunward Park Hospital, and operates at accredited facilities in Gauteng — Netcare Sunward Park Hospital, Centurion Day Hospital and Life Brooklyn Day Hospital in Pretoria. He is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa under HPCSA No 261190.

Consultations are unhurried. Every plan starts with measurement and drawing, and with an honest account of what surgery can and cannot change — including the limits of the result, the recovery it demands, and the risks it carries. If an operation is not the right answer, you will be told so plainly.
